Lost Origins    I    2026-

Lost Origins is a very recent direction, still in development. Emerging from my earlier investigations into dreams, archaeology and ancient visual languages, it asks how new mythologies might be imagined from fragments of humanity’s ritual past.

Rather than constructing individual story-like scenes from existing motifs, as in Ancient Stories, I am beginning to imagine the symbolic material culture, ritual objects and creation myths of a civilisation imagined into existence. Archaeological research, dreams and intuition come together to suggest an uncertain material history: simultaneously ancient and imagined, familiar yet resistant to fixed interpretation.
