Lost Origins    I    2026-

Lost Origins is a very recent direction that remains in development. Emerging from my earlier investigations into dreams, archaeology and ancient symbolism, it asks how entirely new mythologies might be created from fragments of humanity’s ritual past.

Rather than constructing individual story-like scenes from existing motifs, I am beginning to imagine the symbolic material culture, ritual objects and creation myths of a civilisation that never existed. Archaeological fragments, dreams and intuition come together to suggest an uncertain material history: simultaneously ancient and imagined, familiar and resistant to fixed interpretation.
